The group normally meets for a practical session on the first and third Monday of the month from 10.00 am – 12.00 noon at St James’ Church Hall, Wollaston, where we have WIFI access.
The only meeting of the group in January will be on Monday 19 January 2026
The purpose of the group is to extend our knowledge and skill in researching and recording our family history. Members vary in their knowledge of family history from beginners to those who have been researching for many years, and we all benefit from sharing our problems as well as our achievements.
This is a small group of up to 15 and members are either researching their family history using a laptop or notepad or recording the information they have found using a variety of methods.
Group members are encouraged to contact me between meetings if they have any queries.
U3A members who are not part of the group are very welcome to contact me if they are interested in researching and recording their family history and would like any advice or help.
For further information about the group please contact Jenny Metcalfe via the Contact link at the top of this page.
